I grew up in South Carolina, the daughter of a surfer and surf shop owner, with saltwater in my blood long before I knew what to do with it.
My dad had a camera that was never really his. I was always the one carrying it, turning beach days and family trips into photo shoots, chasing beautiful light and meaningful moments from the time I was old enough to hold it. I've always been drawn to places that make you stop and take a breath.
Surfing and photography grew up together in me. The ocean taught me to slow down and pay attention to the way a wave builds, the colors that appear at sunrise, and the quiet in-between moments most people never notice. A camera simply gave me a way to preserve them.
At eighteen, I packed everything I owned and moved to Hawaii, chasing the freedom and peace I found in the ocean. It was the first place that truly felt like home, and I knew I wanted a life built around the sea.
Since then, I've followed light around the world, from Indonesia and Australia to Portugal and the California coast I now call home. Some of my favorite mornings, though, are still spent at Swami's in Encinitas, watching the first light spill across the water.
Salty Waters Studio is my way of sharing those moments. Every print is an invitation to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and bring the feeling of the ocean into your home. Whether you're a surfer, a traveler, or simply someone who feels most at peace by the sea, I hope these images remind you of the places that make you feel most alive.
